Coming down Afoneitha Road you turn left into a drive way that leads to the ground car park which is covered with stones. There are railings all around the car park with a hill on the other side of the railings with houses on top. On the other side there is the only turnstile of the ground, well the only place to get in, i wouldn't call it a turnstile. You give your admission money to a steward standing by the gate! Then you walk in and to your right there is a small porta-cabin which is the snack bar and sells chocolate bars, cups of tea and coffee, cans of pop, cartons of coca cola, hot dogs, burgers & Bovril. There is normally a man on the cash till who isn't the most friendly but that is just is humour I think as he laughs alot. Weird. His daughter also works in there making the tea and coffee. Then outside the cabin you turn right and the pitch is straight infront of you with bars around it with a few advertising boards. Off the pitch however there is a small green patch behind one of the goals where small children are normally playing a small game of there own by bringing their own football and jumpers. Back on the ground... The pitch is nice and looks a good surface to play football on. There is a new stand that covers half the length of the pitch situated in the middle of the length with around 60 seats. and is also a covered standing area where around 20 people can watch the game. Sitting in that stand though you can not see the far right corner of the pitch as the brick dug-outs are in the way of your sight. Behind the other goal there is a wooden fence. The other side of the pitch across from the stand is just grass where fans can stand to watch the game.
Ground location is poor. Can not see it from the road and wouldn't know where it was if you had never visited the area before.
Good view as 3 of the 4 sides are standing so can see everything but can't see one corner of the pitch if you are in the seated stand as the dug-outs block out the view.
Okay but a tad unfriendly and food cabin is only small.
Not alot of option, really simple but obviously nice, nothing to go wrong.
Stewards look a bit strange and like they have something wrong upstairs not being horrible. No Police ever there.
No atmosphere what so ever.
