"A Respectable Club (apart from the schooligans)"

With low ticket prices and great facilities Forest Green is garunteed to be a good day out. Despite loosing 2-1 with a 91st minute winner, this was the case, as i still had a great day out.

There isn't much around the ground although we did manage to walk down to a local cornershop to get some food before we entered the ground. This was in anticipation of the vegan menu that Forest Green offered.

Surprisingly the food at the ground was actually really nice, several people commented on how nice the veggie burger was and i enjoyed the chip butty they served me. (No cheesy chips unfortunately)

Forest Green offer half price for season ticket holders of a football league or premier league team, so i was able to get my ticket for £3.50!

Dissapointingly segregation was implemented into this game, although creating a slightly better atmosphere, I prefer to integrate and get to know the opposition fans.

After the game i walked past a few of the fans whilst heading towards the away fans coach. Most of the forest green fans didn't say much however a small selection of fans chose to hurl some abuse at us, one fan saying "go back to your northern s***hole!" I was quick to point out that Solihull was in the midlands!!

Overall, my trip to Forest Green was a great day out despite the result, hopefully I will be able to go there again soon to check out their new ground when they have built it.
