samwaters has rated Moor Lane 3.5 out of 5.
Salford was a very friendly place. When arriving at the ground we realised we had turned up at the wrong end, despite this, the turnstile operator let us in the home end anyway.
In the home end we decided to have a pint with the locals, this was good, until we realised we couldn't get to the away end with our pints. After speaking to a steward, we were allowed to walk alongside the pitch to the away end holding our pints, but were not allowed to drink them as we were in view of the pitch.
There was some stupid no standing paint at the front of the away end, but the stewards were fairly lenient in letting us stand there.
Most of the facilities at the ground were temporary cargo crate facilities, and the clubhouse was closed, meaning I struggled to find anywhere with tap water available.
The nearest local was the friendship inn. This was a short walk away from the ground, which can be found by heading towards Heaton park. As the name suggests, it was very friendly, council juice was available here.
