Sutton was a great trip. We landed in Sutton at the Gander Inn. This pub had an attitude towards u18 and forced anyone u18 into the youth section, which was a little weird. The pub redeemed itself as we left, they offered plastic cups so that we could walk to the ground with them - a brilliant idea.
After this we arrived at the ground, the ground is a little patchy, with a few food locations and some good toilets along with some disgusting ones. At one end you are far from the pitch but at the other you are a reasonable distance. At the center of all this is the AstroTurf. This is not as good as a true grass pitch.
After the game we entered the clubhouse, and bottles of beer were 2 for £3. An unreal Christmas deal. This was what made the trip, after the game they turned up the music and it was a great atmosphere in their clubhouse.
Overall I would definitely visit again, in my opinion they should turn the Christmas deal into a permanent one and get it going after every match.
Tap water is readily available from Jenny's kitchen.
