samarmitage has rated Goodison Park 3.5 out of 5.
I visited the ground because I was coincidentally staying in the Lake District that week, so it was not too far from there, and it was a ground which I also wanted to tick off. It is also known to be a proper football ground too, which is something I have missed now that West Ham have moved away from Upton Park.
We found a parking space quite easily which was a short walk to the ground.
I had a fantastic view about midway up the lower tier, and was really close to the action.
This is the main downfall of the ground; the toilets were horrible as there were only urinals and no cubicles nor even sinks, therefore it was extremely cramped in there.
There was no real trouble during the game, however I was next to the stewards during the game who seemed to have a firm control of everything.
The Everton fans didn't chant too often throughout the game, however when they did it was loud, and the stand to the left of the away fans seemed to have particularly loud fans.
