sainteemike's review of East Shore Park

East Shore Park is my home town ground so I may be a bit biased but I love the place. There's a covered enclosure along each touchline. The terracing has been improved in recent years and the whole place has had a lick of paint. There used to be an open terrace behind the goal at the town end but nowadays it's just a grass banking. Really nice small town ground. Also, when I was a youngster, there was a gap in the fence by the (admittedly dreadful) toilets so it was really easy to sneak in without paying!

Atmosphere

On a good day Newburgh Juniors attract about 50 supporters so it's not exactly jumping! I saw them play Dundee St Joseph's in the Scottish Cup in the 90s though and the place was packed. Would love to see it like that again some day.
