Well since I'm a Rovers fan through and through then I'm going to say that this is a really great ground and it is a good day out for all the family with a warm welcome to everyone who comes along to a game. I would definitely recommend going to this ground if you're thinking of going.
I've never traveled to a game by car I always go by train to games, The nearest station is Mill Hill which I believe is easy to get to and from the ground although I've never got off the train at that stop I always get off at the Blackburn station stop. For me it's easy to get to the ground from there because I've been there so many times I've gotten used to it, but i can understand some people when they say it's far to walk because it's a good 25-30 min walk to the ground and back again. But when you exit the station there is a bus station right outside the front so it's really easy to just hop onto a bus to the ground or take a taxi as there's always loads of them about as well.
The seats in the stand where I always sit are reasonable comfy and I just about have enough leg room (had worse at away grounds) though where I sit I tend to stand up and sing with everyone else, so leg room doesn't normally affect me that much. The view from where I sit is great, I sit right in the top left hand corner of the Blackburn end so it's a really great view.
Plenty of toilets at the ground all of which were clean, but they had a problem of fans smoking in them at half time which annoys me but I hope that it's been solved now.
There's plenty of food outlets in the ground that sell pies, hot dogs, crisps etc all at reasonable prices. They tried to make the queues better for the kiosks by placing little yellow turnstiles in - they help somewhat but there's still huge queues at half time.
Police and stewards in the ground are fair although I've never really had the need to ask them about anything.
Well, I sit in the Blackburn End which has the best vocal support in the whole ground. I've been on numerous occasions and the atmosphere has been great especially when we went 1-0 up against Man Utd - it was electric. Although this season with the current situation we found ourselves in and the fact that we lost the drummer meant it wasn't as good as it normally is but it has gotten much better in the second half of the season with the new manager on board and the drummer came back.
