roverchris has rated Etihad Stadium 4.5 out of 5.
Overall I would definitely recommend you go to the City of Manchester Stadium - it's a good day out and if you're lucky your team might out-sing the City faithful like the Rovers faithful did.
The location of the ground is on the outskirts of the town centre which I found very easy to get to. I went by train to this ground and I got off at Piccadilly Station went out of the main doors and walked round to Piccadilly Gardens to stop D to catch the number 216 bus which run every 15 min at £1.20 for a singe. The bus drops you right outside the ground so it's really easy to get to when you get off. Be warned though when leaving the ground there are loads of away fans and City fans trying to get on all the buses so they can become very packed and with traffic it can take longer to get back to Piccadilly Station.
I'm 6'4 and I had no trouble with the seats or the leg room which there was plenty of.
There is a male toilet a female one and one for wheelchair users in the away end of the ground. The male toilets were clean but some fans do tend to smoke in there so be warned, I also caught someone urinating in one of the bins.
There are 3 bars in the away end of the ground 2 marked bar the other food but you can by food from all 3. Beers on sale are John Smiths £3 a pint, Fosters £3.20 a pint and cider which is also £3.20 a pint. You can also by blue WKD and they sell white wine, Coke bottles are £2. Pie-wise there's a Chicken Balti pie at £2.40, and a meat and potato pie at £2.40. Overall it's reasonably priced and when I went there wasn't a big queue, so it was easy to order and the service was quick.
Expect a full body search on entry to the ground - all away fans get it. The stewards were fair in the ground we had no grief from them from what I gather.
Atmosphere in the ground is good, the away end can out-sing the home fans if there's enough of them. The away fans are only separated from the home fans by a line of stewards so expect a lot of grief from both sides of were you sit in the ground.
