How I wish we were still here. A shithole yes, but it was OUR shithole. Atmosphere bouncing, especially under the floodlights, and the real feel of a traditional English ground. I for one would give my back teeth to go back there.
Just off the city centre and surrounded by drinking dens.
From the Kop, marvellous.
Unless of course you got stuck behind a pillar.
The reason we moved. Facilities were hideous in our 1927 vintage Kop end but did we care? Did we hell.
Typical football ground fare.
Never had any problems myself, the stewards knew to leave standing well alone in the right areas.
Incredible on its day. Leicester 3-3 Arsenal is a game that will stay with me till I'm in my box.
