phespirit has rated White Hart Lane 4.5 out of 5.
Home of Tottenham Hotspur football club, the very epitome of elegance and culture in the beautiful game.
Notoriously poor transport connections, but like all great spiritual pilgrimages, the road must be long and difficult for the rewards to be truly earned. Seven Sisters is the nearest tube station, on the Victoria line.
Not every view is unobstructed, but an obstructed view of Spurs in all their majesty is worth infinitely more than clear sight of the whinging squatters up the road.
Everything the heart could desire for a glorious day out.
Epicurus himself would have found earthly fulfilment savouring the hospitality of Tottenham's finest caterers.
No complaints about the stewards, but the police could sometimes tone it down a bit on the rat-run from Seven Sisters.
In bygone days the knowledgeable faithful of the Lane were considered "notoriously fickle fans"; nowadays the keen discernment remains and the passion is ratcheted up with each passing season. Spurs supporters love their football.
