"For whom The Dell tolls"

has rated The Dell 3.0 out of 5.

phespirit's review of The Dell

Levelled ground of a laid-low club. Sad because some great football was played here by some great footballers. A shiny new stadium is a poor exchange for a top quality team in the top division of England.

Location

The city of Southampton is a bit of a sprawl, but happily The Dell wasn't a million miles from the centre.

View

Visited for one match, a good win at home to QPR. Standing throughout, high up towards the back, with pretty poor visibility.

Facilities

Neither good nor bad... non-existent.

Food & Drink

Best take a packed lunch.

Police & Stewards

There and abouts.

Atmosphere

Not bad in its day.
