"Overrated"

Ground is in a proper traditional area, but the experience is rather spoilt by football tourism, e.g. karaoke YNWA and a massive stand full of once in a lifetime TV supporters.

Its ok but a long way from any decent pubs - of which there are plenty in the centre of Liverpool

Depends where you are in the stand. The back is awful as obstructed view and can be massively hot. The front is too low. Seats are all cramped but view of pich ok and can be close.

They were reasonable with the idiots in front of me. Confiscated their bottles of beer first time, but threw them out the second! You do wonder about levels of searching -on that day, but security were watching CCTV carefully apparently.

Atmosphere

nothing special, just a fairly big ground. Too many tourists.
