ojoslocos has rated Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia 3.0 out of 5.
This is a crumbling concrete bowl whose missing bits have been replaced by semi-temporary metal stands. If you go in the west stand and climb all the way to the back, you can amuse yourself during quiet periods of the match (and there will be plenty) by watching the seaplanes come and go on Lake Como. Buy yourself a beer and sit there with the sun on your back - who cares if the football isn't top notch!
Strange to have to present the passport of every member of my party when buying tickets at the ground. I've been to football in a dozen European countries, but this was the first time that has happened.
The ground is within easy walking distance from both San Giovanni and Lago stations, so research in advance which suits you better in terms of train times and travel accordingly.
