"Enjoyable Visit."

First match in Austria. Went to Rapid Vienna v Austria Vienna, just after their winter break in the 2017-2018. Very enjoyable match, good atmosphere, well priced.

Location

Got a train to Wien Hütteldorf from Vienna Central Station. Took about 15 minutes.

Was behind the goal, decent view plenty of leg room like you would expect at a newer ground.

Facilities

Seemed perfectly fine.

Food & Drink

Have the annoying system that you need to get a pre-paid card from a machine to get food/drink. Fine for season ticket holders, but annoying for day trippers / tourists.

Police & Stewards

Stewards initially sent me in the wrong entrance. Once inside and lost, I was directed out of the stadium by the stewards, who promised my ticket would still work when I tried the correct entrance which unsurprisingly it did not. Fortunately there was someone at the ticket office who had clearly had other people in the same situation who sorted it out.

Atmosphere

Loud, vocal crowd but not hostile at all. One of the best I've come across.
