This ground has a distinctly rural location. It appears to have been built in the grounds of a country house cum farm. Adjacent is a golf course. The pitch is surrounded on three sides by a concrete walkway. There is a small low covered seating stand behind one goal adjacent to the turnstile. A small seating stand straddles the half way line. It gives an excellent view of playing area.
The ground is found up a short lane off a country back road. It des not appear to be near any public transport. Fortunately it has fairly large car parking facilities.
Apart from the two seated areas noted above, there are four bus shelter-like buildings situated down one side of the ground adjacent to the pitch that give protection from inclement weather for a limited number of spectators.
Inside the ground the toilets are situate in a converted container.
The only hot drink outlet is provided by a machine by the bar in the club house. This building is situated opposite the turnstile. The bar is on the second floor. It is not very well sign-posted. On my visit there was no sign of any food for sale except crisps and chocolate bars.

None apparent.
Gay Dawn Farm is a very open ground. There is access to only three sides with the fourth side being reserved for the team dugouts. This and the lack of any terracing detracts from any sense of atmosphere.
