"Interesting experience"

Good place to watch a game. Lively atmosphere.

Location

The ground is set in the western suburbs of Brussels. From the Gare de l'Ouest it is a short tram ride, No 82, of just two stops to Mennekens. Then a five minute walk to the ground. Get your match ticket from the kiosk.

Facilities

The only toilets in the stand were near the entrance to the social club the entrance for which is visible as you go into the ground. In keeping with the run-down feel of the place all the other toilets at the back of the stand were closed.

Food & Drink

Burgers, hot dogs and chips sold just inside the ground.

Police & Stewards

Stewards (and police) were clearly evident. A section of the home support were noisy and boisterous in their support but no trouble evident. The small away support were in the stand opposite so their was no chance of any clashes within the ground.

Atmosphere

Home fans made a lot of noise with their singing and chanting. They were still at it 10 minutes after the game, a narrow win for the home side on a bitingly cold afternoon.
