max54 has rated Ammanford Recreation Ground 3.0 out of 5.
Tight little ground in the sporting hub of the town. Had a warm welcome at the turnstile which was replicated with just about everyone who I spoke to at the ground.
They now have a main stand along one touchline. It is an all-seater no doubt in line with league requirements.
Coming into the town south from the M4 the ground is first turning left just over the railway bridge. There is a small car park just a short walk to the ground.
Stood for the whole of the match.
They appear to have at least one toilet at the ground now!
Although there is no alcohol for sale they have a wide range of soft drinks + tea/coffee served by very friendly staff. The club currently has a drive on to raise funds to improve their facilities.
Stewards not a problem whilst members of the local constabulary wandered by on a couple of occasions during the match. It should be noted that a well attended 'fun day' was ongoing at the adjacent rugby club at the same time so it was busy.
