mattgfc77's review of Chalk Lane

shabby and ramshackle with a lot of overgrown nettles with just three side with ok clubhouse

Location

Out of Cockforster tube station, walk left down Chalk Lane past the cricket ground then turn right past the bowling green.

View

view perfect standing one small ramshackle wooden covered stand filled with overgrown nettles and holly and shabby covered in old corrugated plastic seated main stand with 2 rows of white tip seat rest is just open narrow path.

Facilities

decent clubhouse

Police & Stewards

none

Atmosphere

128 in Attendance I must say the 20 or so Kings Langley supporters who made the trip down south and Cockfoster supporters on the seated side of the ground made a decent enough noise.
