Thought the ground was really smart, better than some other new stadia I've been to. Saw a womble. Match was poor- dead rubber for both teams so didn't expect a spectacle. Couldn't buy a beer or refreshments at half time due to massive queues- why do some clubs not want to take your money??
Ten minute walk from Earlsfield station, plenty bars and shops nearby. Stadium hidden behind modern flats which look like they were built at the same time as the ground.
Unobstructed view.
Long queues due to slow service and lack of staff/counter area. Queued for the whole of half time (even left to queue just before first half ended) and still not even half way through the queue when second half started. Poor.
I've been searched less at an airport. Fella got thrown out for trying to retrieve a beach ball (in good spirits) even though he was with his young son who was distraught understandably. Heavy handed.
Seemed friendly enough. Didn't see any trouble other than the beach ball incident. Home fans very quiet. SWA in good voice.

“Compact and tidy but surely a bit small for a league ground?”
