Visit 11th Feb 2017. Godalming v Guernsey. 3-0. Very cold day with some snow but covered seating in main stand and a great bacon roll and pint of TEA (from the Hogs Back Brewery). Ground is fairly basic but fine for the size of the support. Nice program £2.
Very easy to find as on main road into Godalming from Guildford and the town itself can be avoided.
Easy parking in public car park nearby £2 for two hours or more. Some nice looking pubs nearby and the town itself looks like a nice place to take a walk around. Will hopefully be back for another visit.
The main stand looks old - bought second hand from the defunct Addlestone & Weybridge according.
to the program. Perfectly good view from the back of the stand sitting down.
The bar was nice but can\'t be reached from inside the ground - but you can retain your ticket and go out to the bar at half time. Only two male toilets so you will probably queue at half time!
Food from the tea bar was good. I had the bacon roll and a coffee. The chips looked good but didn\'t try them.In the bar they had bottled beer andlagers on tap. I had the bottled T.E.A. from the Hogsback brewery- I\'ve had this before at Sandown racecourse so knew it was good. If I lived in Surrey I would drink this all the time.
No police, only stewards,perfectly friendly.
Not a huge atmosphere, more vocal from the away fans but perfectly friendly.
