loveanewground has rated Rush Green Bowl 2.5 out of 5.
Ground no 418. Saturday 3rd December 2022. FC Clacton v ?? 1-1. This was a second attempt as two weeks ago game called off and we diverted to Hadleigh United. This was a rather bleak cold, wet and windy day which is never the best time to get a positive impression of a ground. It was also a full bloodied game with a lot of big guys kicking lumps out of each other. On the plus side, 2pm kick-off seems like an excellent idea given the energy crisis and I wonder why more clubs don't do it. Two weeks ago it also meant we had plenty of time to find another game to go to. FC Clacton have got some good vocal support and a small band of fans that travel that I have seen at Clacton away games. I do recommend Fish and Chips from (I'll add the name) in Clacton town centre. A medium cod seemed very reasonably large.
Ground is easy by car but would be a fair walk from the Station.
