loveanewground has rated Oakside 2.5 out of 5.
Visit: Ground no 301 on this site. 1st May 2017. League Cup Final. Sawbridgeworth v Takeley. 0-1 to Takeley AET.
15th April Good Friday 2022. 2nd Visit: Redbridge v Little Oakley 1-1. Att:64. Lovely hot day for watching football, deserves a much bigger crowd.
Couldn't be any nearer to a tube station: Barkingside. Parking at ground probably sufficient for most matches. There is free street parking on Saturdays and evenings but you have to park in designated parking bays.
Perfect view of the pitch from all around the ground. Covered terrace on one side, seating on the other. Raised terrace at one end.
The Club House is very modern with good toilets. The best I have seen in the Essex Senior League.
There is a separate Tea/Food bar and then in the clubhouse various drinks available.
Stewards seemed just there to retrieve the ball. No Police presence.
There was a good crowd (200-300 estimate) and atmosphere for this cup final match.
