Visit. 5th November 2016. City of Liverpool v Cheadle Hulme. Div 1 Cup. 2-1. Very interesting to see a new club taking off and plenty of things to buy including match ticket on admission, programs, scarves and badges! Adult admission £5. Excellent value as it was a great game of football. Overall CoL deserved their win but Cheadle Hulme always in the game and unlucky with a late equaliser which was ruled out (I\'m not sure why).
Easy by car. Parking in ground and on nearby industrial estate. Walkable from Aintree Train Station but would need to check train times from Liverpool centre. I couldn\'t work out the bus\'s from Liverpool City centre!
Good view all around the pitch. One covered end and some cover down the main side.
Nice bar / social club.
Had a beer in the bar. There is a burger van for hot food but I didn\'t try it. Looked ok though.
No police and didn\'t really notice the stewards.
There was big crowd for this level - nearly 300 and there was some singing and generally a good friendly atmosphere.
