Visit 18th Feb 2017 Waltham Abbey v Brentwood Town 1-0.
The main stand faces West and for this match the sun was shining so it was very pleasant for watching football in the warmth in February! A complete contrast to my visit to Godalming Town last week where it was freezing and snowing. Got there 10 minutes late so didn't see the social club or get a program.
Enjoyable visit, would go back and have a look around Waltham Abbey itself.
Very easy to find just off the M25 junction 26. Ground is not signposted and Sat Nav only took me to Stewardson Road, not the ground. You have to take the road north over the M25 towards Waltham Abbey and the ground is on the right. Plenty of free parking.
Small but perfectly nice stand down one side and as I said earlier it gets the sun so nice and warm if the sun is shining!
Can't comment too much as didn't go into the social club which is actually outside the ground. Toilets small but ok.
Can't really comment as didn't try the tea bar but it looked fine.
No police and stewards were not noticeable.
Not much atmosphere but there were only approx 110 people there so not really surprising.
