lloydystark has rated Hood Park 2.0 out of 5.
A council owned ground with dugouts, crowd barriers, car park and leisure centre (toilets inside). Is situated in the town centre near to local pubs, restaurants and bus routes.
Former home of Ashby Ivanhoe, now the home of Marlborough rovers fc and junior teams.
The changing rooms still have Ashby Ivanhoe on them from several years ago (as well as a lot of graffiti)
Is pretty central to the town centre, close to local pubs, food outlets and bus and taxi services.
Metal crowd barriers around the ground (something to lean on when standing) no obstructions around the ground. There is a small car park next to the ground.
The pitch belongs to the council and Hood Park leisure centre so theres toilets inside.
There maybe a vending machine and drinks in the leisure centre, if not I’d pop into a local shop before hand (co-op is a 5 minute walk away.
