As a fan of J League Football, my 2 visits to this stadium were amazing experiences, my first time being in December 2014, for the final game of the season against Yokohama F Marinos. Over 35,000 inside the ground, with nothing to play for as Tokyo has solidified a mid table finish, but the atmosphere showed otherwise.
Japanese fans are the best, I was sat in the neutral end for my first game and fans of both teams, sat with each other, I was talking to both Tokyo and Yokohama fans and we were all in great spirits, no violence needed (take note, other English folk and maybe you can get your beer back in the stands because the Japanese, don’t act like idiots after 2)
Beer went around the stand with staff everywhere, pints were expensive but it’s to be expected at a facility of this nature, since going, I follow the FC Tokyo as my second team and I can’t wait to go again.
