I quite enjoyed my visit to Huish Park with my team, Oldham Athletic. Unfortunately the Latics lost 3-0 to a Yeovil team that was fighting for their League One status. This ground is 25 miles from the nearest junction of the motorway (Junction 25 M5 signposted Taunton, Yeovil, Weymouth) and takes around 30 mins to reach from this junction. As you turn onto Lufton way there is an Asda and just a little further up the road is Houndstone retail park. As away fans, follow signs for away fans parking. I am unsure about pubs in the area as I did not go to any. I found that segregation between home and away fans was poor because they both use the same facilities in the Cowlin Stand, otherwise a nice little ground that I may consider going to next season.
25 miles from the M5 in Houndstone.
Brilliant view, no obstructions like in most grounds.
OK, didnt use the food kiosks due to uncertainty with home fans.
Didn't use them.
Not bad I suppose, just like any other stewards and police officers at League One ground.
I felt that the atmosphere at this match was typical of a League One game, however the amount of Oldham fans that went made it a good atmosphere in the away section until Yeovil scored their 3rd goal.
