"Horrible - why segregate?"

Athletics tracks and football grounds do not mix!
Also why segregate home and away fans in the main stand if you are going to let the home fans freely enter the away end to use the toilets food & beer bars? This meant that it became extremely busy at half time in the foyer and they ran out of hot food. You could buy beer in glass bottles, so if somebody from the away following wanted to 'kick off' with the home fans it could probably turn quite nasty. I really do not understand the concept of this?

Location

Near an industrial estate, good free parking facilities. Very easy journey up the M1 and/or A1.

View

Due to the athletics track, although the view is generally very good and unobstructed you are too far away from the pitch. We stood for the whole match.

Food & Drink

Expensive and they ran out of hot food at half time. The burgers were pre-cooked then kept lukewarm. The hot dogs were of the tinned variety. Very poor

Police & Stewards

No police present. A few stewards at every entrance under the stand, at the front of the stand and in the car parking areas. Asd an away fan you could freely walk into the home end during a segregated match which is making their job absolutely pointless!

Atmosphere

Zero atmosphere due to the size of the stadium and there only being 700ish fans there. A few kids at the back of the home end chant 'howay the lads' every now and again.
