johnwickenden has rated Wodson Park 3.0 out of 5.
Visited to see Ware take on St Ives Town in a Southern League midweek fixture. Wodson Park is a great little ground by non-league standards, although new and lacking some character of older stadia. Very friendly club - completely agree with the previous review
Located adjacent to Ware Sports Centre very close to the A10 in the north of the town. Not sure how close it is to the station, but very convenient if your visiting by car
The impressive main stand has plenty of seats and the rake of them is good enough that the rows in front don't obstruct the view. No standing is allowed in front of the stand. There is a covered terrace opposite also, with small raised terracing behind both goals
Toilets in the bar / clubhouse and at the other end of the main stand
Difficult to say as the average gate is only about 100. Little chanting or singing but both sets of fans were vocal and, in common with other Southern League grounds, the two sets mingled freely
