I visited here on the first day of the 2016/17 season to see the hosts take on Horley Town in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. I also brought my elderly and wheelchair using father (he lives close by and grew up in Horley!)
East Preston is little more than a suburb of Littlehampton and, as such the football ground is located in a residential area. The football team is part of the 'village' social club and as such it has a reasonably large car park. The nearest station is Angmering which is about a 10 minute walk away. There are no pubs of food outlets (except for the social club) in the immediate vicinity of the ground.
The Lashmar (as it's known, due to it's location off Lashmar Road) is a standard county league standard ground with a small seater stand of the metal variety. Unusually this is located in the corner of the ground, alongside the turnstiles and clubhouse / changing rooms. There is also a small area for wheelchairs and other disabled supporters directly in front of the turnstiles. There is no shlter on the other 3 1/2 sides of the ground, although the whole thing is surrounded by tal fir trees
Toilets are in the clubhouse (you have to go back thru' the turnstiles) and there is no club shop
Club house has a bar but there is also a snack bar pitch side of the turnstiles selling reasonably priced burgers etc.
As it was the first game of the season there was a fairly big crowd (100+) for this level. Horley bought a few fans (including the "Horley Massive" who stand behind the goal at the New Defence, although they didn't bring their cowbell). The home fans were also in good voice and, all in all, it was quite noisy .
