Langford ist a small village a few miles south of Biggleswade, with a ppulation of about 3,000. The team play (as of season 19/20) in the Spartan League Division 1. Local rivals are Stotfold (a similar sized village) and Shefford Town. To be honest the ground is probably county league standard and, I would guess that the matches would only get crowds of bout 50.
The ground is located alongside the B659 about 400 yards north of Langford village. There is a large car park on site, although the nearest train station (Arlesley) is about 20 mins walk away. The nearest pubs are both in the village centre about 10 minutes walk away. These being the Five Bells and The Engineer. The ground itself is surrounded on three sides by fields or trees (the fourth side being the car park)
The ground has one metal 'arena' style covered stand with about 120 seats (the Ted Rutt Stand) and a small covered standing area called the Centenary Stand. Both are on the far side of the pitch from the clubhouse. Other than that it's open with a concrete path surrounding the pitch
Toilets are in the clubhouse.
No club shop nor merchandise sold. The programme is free on admission but contains little content
There is a licenced bar in the clubhouse and also a counter where hot food (cheeseburgers, burgers only), chocolate or hot drinks can be bought. Very limited selection but prices are reasonable enough
I visited for the re-arranged local derby against Stotfold, who are having a much better season than their hosts. The crowd was 75 and at least half were 'stotfoldians' who made far more "noise". Unsuprising really as their team crushed the hosts 0-5
