johnwickenden's review of Anchor Ground

Pretty easy place to find, good amount of seating in the stand - terracing on the other three sides

Location

Easy to find, just south of the Motorway and signposted off the A666. Right next door to the Crown Paints factory !

View

Not huge crowds here anyway, but plenty of seats in the main stand in my visit.

Facilities

Toilets in clubhouse. Bar available and a tea bar

Food & Drink

Cup of tea was a £1.50 - no Bovril !!!!

Atmosphere

I went to see the NWCFL fixture against league leaders Colne. They outclassed Darwen and their fans were superb throughout. Darwen's following were very quiet
