johnwickenden has rated Alwyns Lane 3.0 out of 5.
Chertsey Town currently play in the Combined Counties League Premier, although they have previous spent time as members of the Athenian League and a few seasons in the lower reaches of the Isthmian. The ground itself is quite large by CCL standards and has a Main stand which gives a raised view of the action. However the whole ground does appear to be a little the worse for wear (as with a lot of clubs at this level)
Located just off of the Old part of Chertsey town centre, close to the Church and signposted from the road. The ground itself does have a car park, although it is possible to use street parking. Alwyns Lane itself is one way. The ground is about 5 minutes walk from the nearest pubs and places to eat and about 10-15 mins walk from Chertsey Station
Entry is at the Alwyns Lane End. Behind the goal here is a covered terrace. To the left is the Main stand which is an old wooden affair. Seating is raised and gives a good view of the match with pylons only affecting views from seats at the rear. Either side of the stand is a concrete terrace. The far end of the ground is an uncovered terrace whilst the opposite side to the main stand is covered terracing for the full length of the pitch
Toliets can be found in the clubhouse and at the Alwyns Lane End, There is no club shop but badges and scarves can be bought from the bar
There is a snack bar (not open during my visit) and a clubhouse. I didn't buy anyhting so can't comment on prices etc
I was here for a Christmas fixture with Horley Town (who brought quite a large following). The crowd was about 100 and there was a few chants and comments thrown at the teams and oficials.
