A really good night out. MK Dons 0- Millwall 1. Considering the state of grounds that we often see at this level this was really nice, as you'd expect from a new build. We were treated well, there were no mix ups getting in on the electronic ticket machines and in general the event ran very efficiently.
Very comfortable and spacious surroundings.
I look forward to my next visit.
Whilst the ground was not too far away from the motorway, it did seem to be a little out of the way and parking was limited except for the £5 stadium car park. Whilst this did have ample room, it did take rather a while to get away from. It was fairly well signposted once within a mile or so, but before that there are no clues given, good old sat nav got me there!
I have never seen seats quite like this, proper, nice comfy, slightly padded seats. Every seat has an excellent view of the pitch. I was in a corner and couldn't complain about my view. Plenty of leg room and everything like that. The only complaint I could make is that the floodlights were very bright, almost like having the sun in your eyes at 7.45 in March! I got used to it by kick-off though and it didn't affect my viewing pleasure.
As you'd expect in a modern stadium, fairly clean, very spacious and plenty of them. No queue immediately after FT whistle, despite 1800 away fans streaming past, always a good sign there are plenty.
All seemed very jolly and happy to help, I had no real need for help though. Seemed a little slow reacting to a pitch invader. Maybe the laid back approach doesn't always work!!
I don't know if it's the eerily empty upper tier but there were 10000+ Dons fans in and you couldn't really hear them from the other end and I'm pretty sure they were trying. Was brilliant up where I was, but then we won a promotion 6 pointer 1-0 away from home!
