"Most picturesque ground in the UK?"

First of all, if for no other reason you must visit the ground (now on to it's millionth name "The Cheaper Insurance Direct Stadium) for it's location, it's at the foot of Dumbarton Rock which is home to Dumbarton Castle, google it, it's truely quite a site. Now back to the stadium, the ground is no looker, it's a single bog-standard stand (about 15 years old) on one side and on the other three sides is a metal fence. The views from your seat are excellent though no matter which part of the stand your sitting. There is an excellent bar for fans in the home section pre-match and during the game the catering is actually very good for Scottish football and fairly priced, my recommendation would be the delicious Curry Pie. The ground is dead easy to find, you just drive towards the rock and there's plenty of parking, it's about a 10ish minute walk from Dumbarton East train station.

Easy to find, train station not far.

View

View is excellent, no issues with legroom.

Facilities

Concourse is clean if plain. A couple of kiosks for food/drink. Toilets aren't particularly great though and there isn't enough of them.

Food & Drink

Catering is excellent, many clubs could learn a thing or two from DFC's caters. Good selection and well priced, not for everyone but the Curry Pie is my recommendation.

Police & Stewards

No issues with police, stewards can be a bit harsh.

Atmosphere

On its day, Dumbarton can have a brilliant atmosphere, upside of having a small ground like this means it can be near full capacity meaning fans can be in good voice.
