jackprice1 has rated Middle Road 3.5 out of 5.
Never actually been a spectator at the ground, only played there once in a charity game however spent point on the sideline so can give a summary of what was there.
Middle Road is a standard, run of the mill level 10 ground, but could probably cope a few levels higher up with what’s in the ground at present
Sat behind a recreation ground, Middle Road is on a slightly busy road leaving Shoreham, towards neighbouring Southwick,
Parking is very limited at the ground, as the parking spaces are shared with the recreation ground, meaning some feisty competition with dog walkers!
Shoreham town centre itself is only about a 15-20 minute walk away, and the smaller Southwick Station is only about 10 minutes heading the other direction
One stand with a small amount of seats, other than that just standing, realistically what is expected at this level
Nice clubhouse in the ground, which has toilets (albeit very small, only one male cubicle).
Weren’t serving food on the day of our game unfortunately, however alcohol was being served after and was decent value considering the area (£5 a pint minimum) and the wait wasn’t really too long, however the clubhouse wasn’t particularly busy
Was only a charity game however some of the Shoreham game regulars showed up and were really friendly, and tried getting some chants going which really showed what they’re all about, honestly some great fans
