irongav has rated Villa Park 4.0 out of 5.
great old school ground, bit drafty on a cold blustery day. was hoping for a better atmosphere, but im guessing on its day its as good as any, shame about the amount of empty seats in the ground. We were not very good! and gave away a penalty and a free kick both of which were scored !!!
very easy to find, we parked in a back street about half a mile north of ground, no problems. but check out the resident only parking signs, not worth a ticket.
view was ok, but prefer to sit behind the goal end, stood throughout, but seats would be a bit tight for the taller fan
usual fare, no alcohol to away fans
all fine
Was dissapointed with the atmosphere, im guessing the villans were nervous, it was not until they scored that the ground became alive [a little chanting from a few small pockets of fans aside] no problems in or around ground
