Bloody long drive from the south, but well worth it, sunny afternoon, no hassle with the home fans, went 2-0 down (against the run of play) and then came back to 2-2 in 2nd half, should have won the game, but that aside, its always nice to be in the away stands with the loyal travelling claret n blue army!
No problems finding ground, we got there 2 hours before kick off, parked for free... with the fire staion on your right take the next right, we parked there and then walked back down the road, turned right at the bottom (opposite way to football ground) crossed the road and went in and had a meal in the Queen Vic, then 10 mins or so walk to the ground.
Seats are old and wooden but ok. View was ok, stood throughout whole game so plenty of leg room
Inside it's like a cold factory unit!
Stewards fine. Police were ok apart from telling fans off for swearing!!!!!!!! It's not a tea party at the vicarage! I don't think anybody was offended by bad language, I think they were more offended by the game being disturbed by policeman chatting to foul mouthed fans!
Burnley sang a bit at the start but then when they scored they woke up, but to be honest we were making so much noise, I couldnt hear them! No problems with the fans.
