good eveing out, lots of banter, half decent game of football, with oxford beating us 1 0, to be honest they had some very good spells in the game, bit of a scuffle on pitch always go's down well with the fans ;-) rob hall got a good reception, nice for the lad. I know its been said before , but it is funny when the ball clatters the cars in the car park, even funnier when the burger van man, runs out to claim the ball and shuffles back into his van with a cheer from the away fans.
great league 2 club with half decent support, they could have a good season ahead of them, I wish them all the best. If you're thinking of going to the ground, go for it
ground is easy to get too [but arrive a bit early if you want the better parking!] we got stuck in a traffic jam and were a bit later than hoped arriving. we parked right at the back of the bingo hall, which was cool because its free, but what a pain in the ass to get out, bit like trying to pee down straw after 5 pints!!!
leg room wasn't bad [that coming from a 6 foot +], view was good
usual sort of fare and service!
police were invisable, stewards were ok, stopped a few of the lads with beer snuck into stadium, but let bad language n chants go by with no grief
not bad for a friendly game, some good passionate fans
