irongav has rated St Mary's Stadium 4.5 out of 5.
Well the home fans came out in their numbers to see The West Ham. Record attendance of 32,152. West Ham's end didnt disappoint with a sell out.
If you're thinking of going to St Mary's... great atmosphere.... proper fans... great stadium... relaxed officials... a proper footballing experience... I would highly recommend.
Just miffed about not getting a beer in the ground (but if that is the worst thing to complain about well that's ok by me)
We parked at the Ocean Marina I think it was called. 15 mins walk away, wearing team colours we had no grief from anybody.
We had great seats just off from behind the goal. Never sat in mine at all, seats did look a bit tight and I always struggle for leg room.
Good all round but have marked down because we joined a queue for a beer n when we got to the front they told us no more beer being served (arseholes). So if you want a beer dont leave it till 15 mins b4 the game!!!!!!!
See above
No hassle at all, were relaxed
Home fans really get behind the team and like to berate the away fans, thought they did a really good job. Must say I'm very impressed, the stadium holds the atmosphere well and "when the saints come marching in" was awesome! Almost as good as Bubbles ;-)
