irongav has rated Ashton Gate 3.5 out of 5.
Good home support, always love it when the home crowd want to be heard. Parking easy, nightmare getting through city (traffic). Had been warned to watch my back around the ground, but had no problems at all. Plucky side that played well to stop us getting the win we should have had, would definitely go again, if they stay up & we stay down (well, could be later this year)
Parking was no problem, parked on a street for free. Ground is easy to find, but getting through Bristol, whatever your satnav tells you, stick an hour on for crawling through the city......
View good if you get in early and dont get the pillar in front of you (unreserved seating) seats have no backs!!!! but we stood so who cares
Pee early or during the match, enough said
No problems at all, quick frisk on way in was as bad as it got
Home fans next to us, didn't let up with chants and banter all through the game, brilliant, impressed, not always pleasant... but that makes it all the more fun... if you like the banter, you must go here
