Really liked this ground. £12 entry by cash or card. Friendly staff at turnstile. Plenty of terracing around pitch. Lots of covered areas around pitch which is so lacking at many Non-League grounds. Reasonably big seating area as well. They have a really good scoreboard that provides info on things such as which player was booked.
In a town centre. About 12 minute walk from the railway station. There's a couple of pubs in the town centre. Town centre isn't the nicest town you'll visit, very run down. Only looks like there's a couple of pubs that you would go in. They have a car park just inside Alwyns Lane (one-way street) behind some office block. There's an antique shop just around the corner that has a load of football programmes in the window which would be of interest to collectors.
Main stand does have some pillars in the way.
The toilets in the main clubhouse were the most upmarket I have ever seen at a footy ground. More like a restaurant or posh pub.
But the toilets by the tea bar were on the manky side!
Had lunch from the fish and chip shop in the town centre beforehand (very nice), so didn't try the food here.
Not a real ale heaven, London Pride was the best they had, but £6 for a pint of London Pride and a J2O, isn't too bad.
But the tea bar charged £2 for a can of coke, most clubs this would be £1 to £1.50.
Didn't see any
Had a good crowd. Atmosphere pretty good for a crowd of 300 or so.
