groundhopper91's review of Shoemakers Lane

A standard eastern counties ground. Fairly large car park, down a single track road which does not do the suspension in your car much good! On the outskirts of Swaffham but was clearly signposted from the main road. The ground itself has a clubhouse, offers pints for £2.80 which was very reasonable. A hot food stall offering burgers for £2.50. The pitch itself is on a huge slope. There's a pretty new stand behind the goal you enter from with a wooden bench all the way along it. There is a seated stand on the left hand side with around 100 seats offering a decent view.

Location

Down a single track road, desperately needs resurfacing as a lot of pot holes.

View

Three stands to choose from. One behind the goal you enter from, one on the left hand side and a small wooden shed on the right.

Food & Drink

Very reasonable priced pints at £2.80. Burger was £2.50.

Atmosphere

Very quiet, only time they cheered was following the goal they scored.
