Drove some Swindon fans up to Gresty Rd for a midweek league game which gave me a chance to tick off another of the 92. Odd looking ground with one behemoth stand on one side and three league 2 standard stands on the others.
In town centre. Next to the station. Car park at round corner free after six so perfect for evening games. On the M6 in no time. Perfect.
Away fans are along the side of the pitch not behind the goal and you can pretty much sit where you like.
Enough toilets bit definitely league 2 quality.
Outstanding. I had a alex double whopper burger which might be the best nurger ive had at a football game. I also had (fat b*starsd I know) a pepper steak pie which was out of this world. I'm still dreaming about it.
Helpful and friendly, engaged in banter with the Swindon fans. Couldn't fault them.
Not great because that one stand is so ridiculously massive, with an attendance under 3000 it's hard to make any meaningful noise.
