grifftinfoilhat has rated Frampton Lane 3.0 out of 5.
A small ground that is playing catch up to LM's meteoric rise through the Welsh pyramid to the second tier.
Just as you enter Llantwit Major from the main road. Not far from the railway station either. The beach is miles away though.
Didn't sit in either of the stands. The one closest to the clubhouse looks like it had a poor view, which is probably why nobody was sitting in it. There's another one the opposite side on the halfway line which looked a bit better.
One set of toilets in the clubhouse. Busy as they are shared with the players.
Excellent clubhouse with good selection of beers and ciders. Didn't see any hot food but I am a sucker for a cling filmed roll from behind the bar. Roast beef with PLENTY of butter.
It's Cymru South so don't expect the Bundesliga. Llanelli brought a few and there was a nice community atmosphere from the home fans. Referee not popular though, probably because of Llanelli's three penalties.
