There is so much character about this stadium, despite the fact that it is clearly an old stadium and in need of a bit of freshening up it's hard to imagine anywhere in the world could beat it as a football venue. I would recommend anyway who has the chance of going to see a match there, do not miss that opportunity. It's fantastic!
Very easy to locate, it's close by to a couple of metro stations and as long as your early enough before the game you don't need to know where you are going, just follow the shirts. Also for tourists there is a bus service that runs from many areas in the city in which you can pay for a day ticket allowing you to get on and off whenever you wish and this stops right outside the ground. The metro is by far the cheapest route but can get very busy most days.
Despite sitting in the top tier the view was amazing, there is nothing to obstruct your view from anywhere in the ground, although I was sitting very far from the pitch the action was clear as anything.
Providing the game means something to the team it is hard to find a better atmosphere than the Nou Camp, it also seems very relaxed and friendly, away fans do not travel much is Spain so you are unlikely to encounter any problems there. The Catalans also love their football.
