"Exactly what I expected"

I travelled as part of a struggling Port Vale contingent desperate for a win and the ground was the only thing that didn't let me down!

Luckily, it was a gorgeous day so those on the terracing were treated to sunshine. Away fans end up with the sun in their eyes but that makes sense when orienting the ground. Seats on the side were quite shallow so it wasn't the best of views but was better from behind the goal.

Overpriced refreshments (but that's the same at all grounds anyway!) and average facilities. Very friendly staff. Location is a bit of a pain as there's not a lot around the ground but I'd visit again.

Location

Close to a retail park but not close enough to walk. Lots of parking available locally (much to the annoyance of locals I can imagine!)

Not the best of views but on a pleasant day it's not a bad ground at all.

Average League Two facilities. No need to explain further.

Food & Drink

Overpriced, decent choice.

Police & Stewards

Very friendly staff, minimal police presence so can't really judge.

Atmosphere

Hard for away fans to make any noise as there is no roof on the end terrace.
