"Difficult to get to East German Stadium"

The only way we were able to get to this night game was via a 25 minute taxi ride from central Berlin. Having got there we ended up going through a wood to try and get to our end of the ground. Having made it in the view was hampered by a huge net in front of us. That said the atmosphere was fantastic
and the quality of football acceptable. Loads of beer and sausage tents inside the ground.

Getting back to central Berlin was risky and we had to find a bar and get the staff to order us a taxi. Not one to try on your own particulaly for a mid winter night match.

In the outback's of the old East side.

Unobtrusive (surprisingly for Germany)

Atmosphere

Fabulous atmosphere with very noisy fans.
