"Dean Court - AFC Bournemouth"

Overall I would say Dean Court is a fantastic ground which I will definitely return to providing one of my teams play there - even the Bournemouth fans who I spoke to were helpful and pleasent to meet.

Location

As I was staying in a hotel in Bournemouth it was a simple 3 mile taxi ride to Dean Court meaning for me the location of the ground and getting there was brilliant

View

Normally on away days the away supporters are shunted behind the goal but at Dean Court the away fans have half of the East Stand which runs along the side which allows for a brilliant view of play when the balls down in your half but it can be quite difficult to see the other end depending on whereabouts you sit

Facilities

The facilities were of a reasonable standard - the toilets were spacious and clean and the food prices were reasonable

Food & Drink

Did not have any of the food or drink but there weren't many long queues and the prices seemed reasonable

Police & Stewards

No police there and the stewards did their job brilliantly - they kept an eye on the crowd but didn't tell anyone off - didn't even tell us to sit down once during the game and even let the players come over after the game to chat to the fans, sign autographs and pose for photos - exactly what stewarding should be.

Atmosphere

The Bournemouth fans behind the far goal made a little bit of noise but the real atmosphere came from the 500+ Stevenge supporters (the fact we won 3-1 made it a lot easier to generate a deceant atmosphere though haha)
