This was my first visit to Priestfield for over 20 years and it is much improved. However the away fans sit in temporary seating in the open for £23.
Nice shop, friendly people.
The away fans' experience is very different though.
Surrounded by small streets but in the heart of the town, and 5 minutes walk from the station. Immediate streets resident only parking but much more within 5 minutes or so.
I had my fastest ever getaway from a ground for many years here, thanks to a level crossing I suspect holding back the match traffic!
Good view from the Brian Moore stand which needs a roof. It was nice in the sunshine (sun behind to the right) but no fun when it snowed.
Thankfully I did not use them but comments from others were not up to much
Good job we did not turn up with our usual sized support for this one, the catering hut could barely cope.
The food (burger or hot dog) hidden from view pre-packed in bags for £3.
All hot drinks were £1.30 and OK but only UHT Milk available so tea not an option! But they did have Bovril.
Would have given 5 if I hadn't been searched. I think the chap was a bit bored.
Not too much for fans to sing about at this one.
Ground tannoy inaudible during the match (for substitutions) at the away end.
